Salmon Creek Indoor is a covered, heated & air conditioned facility, which is great for both players and spectators. Like all indoor arenas, we accept full team registrations. However, we also take individual registrations and form teams each session. This option is great for parents with kids who aren’t currently playing on an organized team.

League Duration: Sept 11th, thru Oct 31st, 2010 (Saturday or Sunday Games)

Be sure to register early, as space is limited. Registrations will not be counted without a deposit. Individual spaces cannot be reserved.

I know that you all are getting just as excited as we are for the 2011 MLS season for your Portland Timbers.  However, the 2010 season will be just as exciting, following their amazing 2009 USL 1st Div Regular Season Commissioners Cup Championship, and record 24 game unbeaten streak.  This year plans to be just as big for the club, with many plans and construction projects to be performed at PGE Park.  The Timbers Army and fans are expected again to come out in big numbers to support their team, and you too can join in on the action in 2010.

The 2010 schedule has been announced, and now have a link (Use Special Offer Code: “SALMON CREEK“) through Ticketmaster, where you are able to buy tickets in advance of Timbers home games.  Further information will be released as it comes available, so stay tuned for updates via our Facebook Page, or by returning to our site.

The following Adult Soccer Leagues play on these scheduled days (Monday through Sunday), followed by the registration deadlines for each league. You can also see the listed Start & End Dates for the upcoming session.

We currently have very few open spots available for all of our leagues, so hurry in and get your friends, co-workers, and family members together to create a team.  If you do not have a team or need players, we can match you up with other players/teams by going HERE.

We are now taking registrations for all teams: Youth, Adult, Coed, High-School, Over-30, Men, & Women.  So come indoors and stay with us through the fall/winter, we’ll keep you warm and out of the elements!

Are you ready for some football? Sign up now for our newest Flag Football League!  Get your old high school teammates back together to re-claim your childhood glory! We’re currently taking registrations on a first-come first-serve basis, so hurry in!

Teams are forming now, so get in early and put down a deposit to reserve your spot in the league for the next session.

About the League

Cost:

• Membership Card – $15.00* (good for one year)
• Team Fees $500.00 for 8-Games
• Plus Referee fees

Game Details

• The game will have 22-minute halves
• 7 players will be on the field at a time, with a minimum of 3 women or 3 men on the field at each time.
• Athletic shoes should be worn and each team must wear the same color.
• Games will have two-22 minute halves with the clock stopping in the final minute for incomplete passes, running out of bounds, change of possession, time outs and conversion attempts.
• Gender plays will be called to allow everyone to be involved.  A Gender Play occurs after 2 consecutive male to male plays, forcing a team to involve a female in the next play.
• Pushing is prohibited, however basketball-type shielding and screening is allowed as long as physical contact is avoided.  Rushing the QB will only be allowed after a 5 count by the referee.
• Flags will be provided by the arena and the ball must be provided by the home team.  A player is down after their flag is pulled.  The spot of the ball will be placed at the spot they were de-flagged.
• First downs will be determined by where the team starts with the ball.  They must cross two cones to get a first down.
• Penalties include normal college football rules, but also include flag-football specific rules.  A player with the ball must not shield their flags with their hands.  Contact is illegal by rule, and will be called if not incidental.   All in progress penalties will be a 5 yard penalty from the spot of the foul other than defensive pass interference and unsportsmanlike conduct.  Dead ball penalties will be 5 yards and replay the down.

Equipment

• Flags will be provided.
• Recommended that each player wears athletic or turf shoes.
• Each team is responsible for obtaining a football.
