This video helps explain the rules and situations where there would be a free kick for one of the teams (i.e. the ball hits the side/roof net, a foul is called, the ball travels 3 lines in the air).  On all of these free kick situations, the referee will blow his/her whistle to stop play and then they will direct you where to place the ball.  Once the ball is situated in the correct place, you have 5 seconds (the referee will count outload) to kick the ball into play.  Remember, you cannot kick the ball twice before another person touches it, otherwise the ball will be given to the other team.
