Rules of Play

If you are just starting to play indoor soccer at our facility for the very first time, or are coming back from an extended leave of playing, please go to our Rules of Play portion of our site to review and get up to date with our policies.

To Register a Team

Return a completed Team Registration form along with your $100 deposit by the registration deadline.  Your team will be registered as of the date we receive your deposit. Teams currently playing have priority in registering. We accept new teams on a first come first serve basis (based on the date of deposit).

Waiver of Liability

Fees paid to SCISA do not include insurance for injuries to players, coaches or managers. All players are required to sign a SCISA Waiver of Liability to participate in our leagues (parent or legal guardian must sign for players under 18).

Team Fees

Standard team fees are $ 576.00 for an 8-game session plus an $8.00 charge for a referee fee per game equaling $640.00 This leaves a balance of $576.00 due by your second game. Team fees are due before the start of your second game.

Players Card

Each player must have a valid SCISA player card to participate in our soccer league available for $15 in the Pro Shop. Player cards must be renewed annually. Age verification may be required. Teams must submit a team roster prior to the start of the second game.

Scheduling

We make every effort to accommodate your scheduling requests, however, we CANNOT GUARANTEE days or times to play.

If we cannot get your team into your requested session we will either refund your deposit or we can hold it over until the next session. All money is non-refundable if your team is scheduled for league play. The balance of the team registration fee is due by the second game.

You can find your team schedules on the top bar menu, or you can get there by clicking HERE!

Referee Fees

All referee fees are $8 per team per game. Referee fees are paid by the participating teams directly to the referee prior to the start of each game.

Referees

Eric BeckAll Salmon Creek Indoor Sports Arena referees are licensed professionals that are managed by Eric Beck.  Eric has been a professionally licensed referee since 1976, performing in both the indoor and outdoor arenas.  Eric is responsible for managing over 75 referees that serve multiple indoor soccer arenas in the Portland/Vancouver area.  If you have any questions and/or comments, they should be directed towards Mr. Beck.  You can find his website, along with his contact information at To Serve The Game.  You can also go to his website if you are interested in becoming a certified referee and/or are looking for games in the area to referee.

Red Cards

We take our player’s conduct very seriously. A series of blue, yellow and red cards is used to keep players under control. Blue and Yellow cards bring with it a 2 minute penalty. After receiving a yellow, another card of any color results in a red.Red Card

Red Card Policy

Each Red Card carries with it a minimum 14 day suspension, unless otherwise specified by the referee who issued the card.  Each Red Card carries with it an automatic $25 reinstatement fee. Players serving a suspension are not allowed to play in ANY Salmon Creek Indoor games until their full suspension is served, even on other teams that are  unrelated to the incident.  Length of  suspension is ultimately determined by Salmon Creek Indoor Management and is NOT restricted to individual teams or seasons.

When a Player Receives a Red Card:

  1. Players Card MUST be confiscated
  2. Player MUST leave the arena (not the field, the arena)
  3. Length of suspension is determined
  4. Date of when the player is allowed to return is written in permanent ink on the back of their Players Card
  5. Player is contacted and informed of his/her suspension
  6. Players Card is placed in the referee book and returned to the player on/or after the date written on back of their Players Card
  7. Player must pay a $25 reinstatement fee to return
