Timbers MLS Crest Unveiled
Just this weekend, during halftime of the USA vs. England World Cup game, the Portland Timbers unveiled their new logo for the 2011 MLS season. This crest has elements of the old logo, with the axe in the middle and the chevrons behind it. The colors has slightly changed, to a darker Ponderosa Green and a Moss Green for the accent color.
While this logo has had much debate in the internet blogs the past few days, it has not been too well received from the fans of the Portland Timbers. It has not yet been decided if the front office for the Portland Timbers will edit and come up with another version of this logo to appease their fans and supporters.
