Our History
Salmon Creek Indoor's story began in 1995 with a soccer coach who saw a need in the local soccer community.
While coaching his son's outdoor soccer team at a state tournament, Glen Cox realized that his team had never played on artificial turf. At the time, there were very few indoor turf options in the Portland/Vancouver area, so Glen began looking for opportunities to bring quality indoor soccer to the community.
Glen partnered with two others to create Vancouver Indoor Sports Arena in the mid-1990s. That experience eventually led to the construction of Salmon Creek Indoor, which opened in 2000 under the ownership of Glen and Jill Cox.
For more than 30 years, the Cox family has continued to provide a place for players of all ages and skill levels to play, compete and enjoy the game of soccer.

About Salmon Creek Indoor
Today, Salmon Creek Indoor is a 40,000-square-foot indoor soccer facility serving the Vancouver and Portland communities. Our facility features two indoor boarded turf fields and provides programming and events for players of all ages and experience levels.
We offer Lil' Kickers and Skills Institute programs, youth and adult leagues, tournaments, field rentals, birthday parties and private events throughout the year.
Our facility also includes separate men's and women's restrooms with changing areas, viewing areas and a front desk/pro shop where our staff can assist with memberships, program registration, league questions and general facility needs.
Whether you're joining your first soccer league, bringing your child to their first Lil' Kickers class, organizing a tournament or simply looking for a place to play, our goal is to provide a welcoming, well-maintained facility where people can enjoy the game and be part of the local soccer community.
