Indoor Adult Soccer Rules and Regulations

Rules of Play PDF
  1. Team Deposit: A non-refundable team deposit of $200 for indoor leagues are due one week prior to the session start date (applied toward team fee). Deposits will be refunded ONLY if the league does not form.
  2. Memberships: Salmon Creek Indoor membership is required for all players. Membership pricing: $30 individual ($60 family). Non-members and players with an expired membership are ineligible for games and cannot be on a team roster. Substitute players may purchase a $8 Temporary Day Membership instead of annual membership. All participants must have a current signed waiver, which can be completed online.
  3. Age Rules: All players for adult leagues (non age-based leagues) must be at least 16 years of age (with parent permission/waiver signed) to participate in Salmon Creek Indoor adult programs. No exceptions. Once you turn 18, you are an adult and sign your own waivers and have your own account. We may require players to verify their age via identification. If we cannot confirm their age, we would potentially not allow the player to play until verification of age is confirmed. FALL 2024 RULE CHANGE: Divisions that are 30+ and 40+ leagues require that players are the age required to play in the division. Players who were in the Summer II 2024 leagues that were in 40+ Division and were 38 or 39 are grandfathered and will be able to remain playing in the leagues. Same goes to 30+ Divisions where players were 28 or 29. No additional players may be added to the roster that are not 30+ or 40+ in those respective divisions.
  4. Player Box Policy: Only actively participating players are allowed in the player box area. If you are not playing, please move to the viewing area outside of the player box. This includes players who are injured and watching their team, children, family members, spouses, and other non-players. This policy is in place to help keep all staff, players, and referees safe and avoid any abuse to those that are actively playing. It also helps our referees focus on the game and not on people that are in the player box who should not be there. Our staff will ask you to kindly move to the viewing area if you are in the player box.
  5. Number of Games: There will be minimum of 6 games and a max of 10 games per session, depending on the season/holidays.
  6. Game Times: The earliest game time for weekdays will be 5:50pm and latest will depend on how many teams participate (latest can be 10pm). Weekend game times for leagues are early afternoon to late evening.
  7. House Teams: Any individual can join a House Team* (must be paid when added to a roster); House Teams have a minimum of eight players and a maximum of 13 players. *Maximum of six male and six female players allowed on Co-ed House Teams. First-come first–served.

Sportsmanship - Players

  • Treat opponents the way you would like to be treated, as a guest or friend.  Who better than yourselves can understand all the hard work and team effort that is required of your sport?
  • Wish opponents good luck before the game and congratulate them in a courteous manner following either victory or defeat.
  • Respect the integrity and judgment of game officials.  The officials are doing their best to help promote you and your sport.  Treating them with respect, even if you disagree with their judgment, will only make a positive impression of you and your team in the eyes of the officials and all the people at the event.

What to Wear

Goalkeeper Attire: The goalkeeper must wear colors that distinguish them from all other players.
Shin Guards & Socks: Are REQUIRED for all players. Socks must be worn over shin guards.
Jewelry: A player may not wear jewelry (watches, bracelets, etc.) that is dangerous to themselves or other players. This may be at the discretion of the referee.

NO CLEATS ALLOWED
