Designed for girls and boys ages four to twelve, Skills Institute Soccer Leagues (SISL) provide kids with the opportunity to develop as players in an age-appropriate game environment. Each week teams play small-sided games that are coached by parent volunteers and guided by instructional referees. No scores are kept or standings posted. The focus is on building soccer skills, applying those skills to team play, learning about sportsmanship and teamwork and above all having fun.
There’s a difference between being good at soccer and becoming a good soccer player. After all, there is more to the game than getting the ball up the field. SISL will help your child build essential soccer skills, but it will also help them to become a strategic thinker, a collaborative teammate and develop a respect for the game and all those involved.
